Deerfield Fair Trip

 

What better way to begin our preparation for the 4^th Grade State Fair then to go to a real country state fair? During the next several months we will be studying the regions of the United States with a focus on land, economy and culture. The Deerfield Fair is still very much an old fashioned fair where they children will experience animals, agriculture, industry, 4H exhibits…

Chaperones are welcomed and encouraged-if you pre-purchase your ticket it is $8, otherwise it is $10 at the gate. Parking is free. Lost your permission slip? Get another one here!

I love the milk crate seats my husband made for our class. They're functional too many are filled with materials for our reading centers.

A mentor text library endcapped with more milk crate seats makes our window a great spot to read.
