Fraction Fish

Just a few of our Fraction Fish
Today we created sea creatures using circles and fractional parts of a circle.  Students first found equivalent fractions to 1 whole and then identified those parts such as 1 whole, 1/2, 1/4,  1/6, 1/8, and 1/12.  Everyone was so creative I wish I could post pictures of them all! The bright colors really brought some cheer and springtime feel to 4T.
